CULTURE: Jama-Coaque ORIGIN: Coastal Ecuador / Manabi Provence AGE: CA. 500 B.C. - 500 A.D. DESCRIPTION: An edearing seated maiden measuring 4 1/2" in height. She sits balanced on a "tail-like" appendage. Her garb includes a large winged headpiece further ornamented by an elongated white stripe, a set of double ear spools, a multi-strand necklace,a small nose labrette, and a knee length tunic.
