CULTURE: JAMA-COAQUE ORIGIN ECUADOR/MANABI PROVENCE/ COASTAL AREA AGE: Ca. 500 B.C. - 500 A.D. DESCRIPTION: A solid molded minature female figure measuring 3" in height by 2 1/4" in width. She is in a seated position with her hands resting on her knees. The body and headpiece are a deep burnished cinnamon color. Her face is a soft ochre yellow. Her headpiece is decorated on the left side with two circular elements and she is wearing small earspools. The detailing of the face is exceptional!
