DESCRIPTION: A stunning work of art. The assured and commanding face of a warrior or noble is emerging from the open maw of a serpent. His countenance is calm, majestic and assertive. He is adorned with large ear spools, nose ornamentation, and a short cropped hairdo. His almond shaped eyes are half closed as if in a trance. Remnants of the original white and green pigments are still evident. One can only imagine the majesty of the complete figure prior to ancient breakage!
