SIZE: 14" in height by 8 1/2" in width PROVENANCE: A private American Collection DESCRIPTION: A large hollow seated pottery female with her legs folded under a knee length skirt.She is wearing a tightly fitted rounded headdress. Her right arm is resting below her ample breast with a circular beaded arm band on her upper arm. Her left hand is raised to her cheek. She has an elegant elongated head. Her face has a gently contemplative visage. A very fine example of the type.
