| AN ELEGANT HAIRPIECE OF TORTOISE SHELL...SOMETIMES CALLED "A PRINCESS COMB" I acquired this piece from a family here in Hawaii. I was told it belonged to their grandmother who was a master at "lomi-lomi" massage around the turn of the century.In exchange for services items such as this were often given in lieu of money. It has two tines missing and a couple of small flea bites to the upper part of the comb but as you can see in the photos it is in remarkable condition for its age. | ||
