| A STATELY MOCHE ANTHROPOMRPHIC CANTEEN This engaging pottery jar was created by a talented Peruvian Moche potter and dates from c.a.100-840AD. He stands 8" tall and is 6"in width.His incredibly realistic face radiates a sense of power and dignity.He has a decorative neck collar with radiating elongated triangles draping down. His hair is covered by a close fitting headpiece extending down his back and two holes flanking the spout which were most likely strung with fiber cord for portability. | ||
