MASSIVE SIGNED Japanese BUDDHIST PRAYER BELL
A gargantuan hand formed Buddhist prayer bell resting upon a brocade pillow set in an ornate red lacquered wooden stand with gold accents complete with leather wrapped striker dating from the first half of the 20th century. Along the rim of the bell is the word Te-Uchi (hand formed) and the signature Seiryu. It has a very pleasant ring. The bell is just under a foot (29 cm) in diameter, and arranged the set stands 21 inches (52.5 cm) tall.
