Dark Seto Mizusashi with black lacquered lid and enclosed in an old kiri-wood box. The pale clay covered in thick, black molasses-like glaze, a burn of red around the rim. It is 6-1/2 inches (17 cm) tallA6 inches (15.5 cm) diameter and in excellent condition. Part of an extensive collection of tea-ware assembled from the Meiji to the early Showa era we have recently acquired, spanning several centuries of production.
