| A fine example of a full size Bunraku Ningyo with mobile eyes and hands complete with bamboo stand and in full kimono dress. The coiffure is perfect, tied with a sash of chirimen silk, a comb from above and all held by a silvered hair pin. The kimono is exudes an air of stately authority, the kimono of a married woman, not young girl. Standing as pictured it is 43 inches (109 cm) tall and in excellent condition. There is one crack in the gofun coating on the left hand. Puppets of this size are exceedingly difficult to find, a rare opportunity to add one to your collection. | |||||||||||||||
