| All surfaces of this striking large vessel are etched, pierced or textured in some way. Three scrolling legs support the bulbous center with two large windows viewing scholarly landscapes between scrollwork handles. Above a cartouche contains a twisted dragon set into a terrain of latticework frets. The vase is 12-1/4 inches (31 cm) tall, 11-3/4 inches (27 cm diameter and in fine condition, dating from the Meiji period. | |||||||||||||||
