| An Art-Deco influenced celadon Vessel by Hasegawa Hakuho covered in pale blue-green Seiji enclosed in the original signed wooden box. The vase is 12 inches (30 cm) tall, 6 inches (15.5 cm) diameter and in excellent condition dating circa 1940. Likely there was originaly a wooden base, this is no longer present. Hakuho was born in Kyoto, and graduated the higher school of industry. He was awarded at the second Kyoten, and was often exhibited at the Teiten, Bunten and Nitten National Exhibitions among others. His work is held in the collection of the Imperial Household. | ||||||||||
