Sterling Antique King Charles III 2 Reale Coin Bracelet

Assembled with vintage materials gathered from the flea markets and private sources of South America, this distinctive necklace was created under the supervision of master jeweler, Joseph Holland. Mr. Holland has been making jewelry for over 40 years, and many pieces are owned by museums, collectors, and celebrities alike.

Although Mr. Holland has retired to Peru, he still has the need to create, which is why we have introduced his "Lima Collection". These pieces are exclusively for sale at Lush Life Antiques with other pieces available for viewing at

This interesting sterling coin bracelet measures 7" long and has 2 antique King Charles (Carolus) III coins dates 1783 and 1787. These two "reale" coins were minted in Peru for the Spanish government and are often the "booty" in excavated shipwrecks. The indigenous people of Peru often pierced these coins and wore them, explaining how these were sourced in Peru by Mr Holland. The coins are 1 1/8" in diameter and the woven chain bracelet is 1/4" wide. It has a great patina and is hallmarked "925" on the clasp. It weighs 30 grams.
