This piece comes from the personal collection of designer jewelry, Joseph Holland. Mr Holland has spent a lifetime in the interior design and antiques business. He has traveled to the far corners of the world where he collected antique jewelry and components which were often incorporated into more grand pieces. His designs were wildly popular in the 60’s to the 80’s when he actively showed at major antiques shows including the Park Avenue Armory, Madison Square Garden, and Miami Beach. This amazing pin/pendant measures 3 1/2" long x 1 1/2" wide and is hand crafted from sterling silver with a rich gold vermeil finish. It has an oxidized sterling head and the belly has a 10 carat center stone. The outer body, dangling earrings, and crown also have topaz stones as well as cubic zirconias. It has a secure pin mechanism and bale on reverse so it can be worn a variety of ways. It is hallmarked 925 on the reverse and it is in excellent condition. |
