| HANS BURKHARDT (Swiss/American, 1904-1994). A superb, large modernist drawing by this famous California artist. Hans Burkhardt has been the subject of several highly important exhibitions as of late and last year alone a major exhibition was held at Jack Rutberg Fine Arts in Los Angeles, and a very fine Burkhardt painting was featured at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Measures 27 x 21 inches - image size. With frame, work measures approx 34 x 29 inches. (Please note: work will be shipped without glass to ensure safe arrival). Medium: Black marker on paper. Condition: Work is in good condition: with some light paper discoloration/toning. Frame/matting with some wear. Please see photos. Signed and dated at right, in pencil. SHIPPING IS $55 IN THE USA.
