|This is a charming, superb original oil on canvas painting of a Mexican / Spanish woman in traditional attire recently recovered from the Hollywood Hills, California estate of consummate art collector, painter, and socialite - Eleanor Harrington. The estate collection included works by Sergei Bongart (her art instructor), Nicolai Fechin, Leon Franks and Paul Emile Pissarro, among others. Eleanor Harrington was an accomplished artist and exhibited widely in Southern California, and frequently with the California Art Club, often with the likes of Bongart, James Swinnerton, Conrad Buff, Milford Zornes, and Sam Hyde Harris.
