| Edward S. Curtis (American, 1868-1952). This is a superb large-format photogravure by noted American photographer, Edward S. Curtis. Title: Alhkidokihi-Navajo. Subject: a sand painting depicting the ancient Navajo medicine ceremony. Printed on what appears to be a thick paper, likely vellum (perhaps Japan vellum). Sheet size: 22 1/4 x 18 inches. Sight: 15 x 7 7/8 inches. Estimated date of creation: circa 1903-1925. Condition: good condition, mild handling wear, mild toning. Please see photos. Authenticity is guaranteed.
