THE STUDIO
We specialize in Chinese antiques from the Han Dynasty to the early 20th Century with emphasis on the scholar arts and objects of special interest from the scholar’s studio. We offer an eclectic range of authentic antiques. The love of nature is reflected in the simple objects collected by Chinese scholars. Seclusion in their studios provided an escape from daily responsibility and often served as the stage upon which the private passion for collecting was enjoyed. This personal pursuit of intimate collecting provides a connection to the past. Our goal is to extend this exciting area of collecting to the happy few.
