| Used in North China for the storage of silks and woolens, this large 19th century camphor wood trunk still retains its wonderful camphor scent and its effectiveness as a natural insect repellent. The scent can be detected only when the trunk lid is opened. Dark hardware--two side handles, a large hasp and backplate, and four corner protectors--contrasts nicely with the warm hue and grain of the wood. This trunk, the perfect size for use as a coffee table, is in excellent condition both inside and outside. Dimensions: height 18 1/2" (47 cm), length 34" (87 cm), depth 22" (56 cm). | ||||||
