| Rare pair of French faience wall sconces or plaques with mirror image rampant dragons painted in the style of Alfred Beau. The over-glaze red is reminiscent of 18th Century Rouen, but these appear to be later. Rare form, possibly from Rouen or Desvres, or perhaps manufactured by an artist in Quimper. 13" high. There is an old epoxy and staple repair to one of the insert slats. | |||||||||
