An Authentic Hand-Woven 19th Century Tibetan Rug (c.1860-1895) in Very Good Condition, with a traditional Tibetan design of three rigidly bordered circles in the center with a wide patterned border surrounding the center shapes; in this case predominately woven in deep reds and blues, with a very special and unique touch of dragons woven into each of the center circles, wrapped around the inner borders; truly wonderful craftsmanship! The Off-White Fringes on both sides are even and have only frayed minorly in two isolated spots over time (visible in photos); and for its age the piece has only very slight discoloration, as is expected. The original vegetable dye coloring is still in excellent condition throughout and as such there is no issue viewing each and every expertly woven detail in this fine hand-woven Tibetan carpet. To the best of our knowledge 100% Repair-Free and Original!
