| Good quality antique Japanese large imari porcelain bowl. Ca. mid to late 19th century. Hand-painted in underglaze blue as well as various enamels (gilt, red, green,aubergine etc). Maker's mark on bottom in red. Condition is very good. Some minor rubbing to the gilt but most is intact. In the well there is some rubbing to the green and aubergine enamel and a few tiny firing flaws. Overall condition of the piece is very good. Diameter: 9.5". Height: 4.75". | |||||||||||
