Unusual Antique Japanese Large Imari Covered Bowl Meiji

Good quality & unusual antique Japanese large imari porcelain covered bowl. Ca. mid to late 19th century. Hand-painted in underglaze blue as well as various enamels (gilt, red, orange, etc). Condition is very good. Some minor rubbing to the gilt. The rim of the cover and where it meets the bowl are unglazed and show some staining and minor pitting from the firing. Overall condition of the piece is very good. Diameter: 7.5". Height with top: 4.75".
