This wonderful large gold shield shaped locket is circa 1820. It has grace of form and is fully operational. The 15k locket locket opens, as pictured by opening the hasp of the padlock. This enables it to be use for a precious lock of hair, photo or dried flower. Or, wear it as I prefer, simply and elegantly empty.

It measures a large 2 1/2 inches from the top "O" ring to the bottom padlock. This classica ...click for details

Incredibly lovely, these earrings are from the Regency Period of design, circa 1820. The Regency Period is applied to the years of 1795-1820. Think of Jane Austen's, Sense and Sensibility and Pride and Prejudice, and you will be transported into this world. Ladies wore upswept hair with curls giving the earrings and necklaces prominence. The dresses were high-waisted with low cut bodices, and the fabrics delicate and elegant. The vertical was emphasized and long glittering earrings compleme ...click for details

The perfect accessory for this season's fashion is a long gold chain. This 18k chain is long, measuring 60 inches long X slightly less than 1/4 inches wide. It is so versatile as it can be worn long or tripled around the neck. It is circa 1900 and has a beautiful marriage knot , also called the Hercules knot. Hercules was believed to be the guardian of wedded life, and the knot symbolizes the strongest of bonds. The chain has a spring ring which can attach to a locket, fob or watch. These fine antique Victorian 14k gold American bracelets are dated 1877. In the 19th century, when a bride to be became engaged, a single token bracelet would be given by the groom. This would be then matched with its mate upon betrothal. This very sentimental gift was typically Victorian and finding a pair is quite unusual. Most bracelets were separated, often given to daughters and the pair became a scant memory.

There is nothing quite like Georgian paste earrings. These earrings, circa 1830 have bright white pastes set in silver hand crimped, rub over collets. The pastes are foiled and bright. They have a central tiny black dot, used to simulate the culate of a diamond which is often associated with the finest paste jewelery. The beautiful stones have glints of honey as they move in the light. This is the beautiful hue created by the foil. ...click for details

These moonstone earrings are Victorian, circa 1890. The moonstones are cut en cabachon and capture that beautiful sheen known as adularescence. This magical glow has flashes of blue and white. Unlike the modern "rainbow moonstones" these are clear and shimmer with light. Set around the central moonstone and around the perimeter are tiny beautifully cut rose diamonds.
