This elegant Art Deco ring is French, circa 1925. The 1920's was ablaze with modernity, and with the Exposition Internationale des Arts Decoratifs et Industriels Modernes held in Paris in 1925, a new era of design was officially born. It was markedly different from the sinuous curves and flowing lines of Art Nouveau and the "Old World" designs of the Victorian period. This Art Deco designed ring is striking yet quite refined. The setting is an octagon accented with side baguettes and centered with an early brilliant cut diamond. The very white central stone is .50cts and GH/SI. The perimeter diamonds are Old European cuts and are .10cts each GH/VS. They too are very white and have excellent clarity. Very elegant French diamond ring, circa 1910. The ring set with a central old European cut diamond weighing approx. .75 carats with a beautiful white H color and VS-2 clarity. The setting is oval and the central bezel set diamond is encircled with a star motif of 16 single cut round diamonds of approx. .44 Cts. H color and SI clarity.
