This French Art Nouveau pendant is circa 1890. It is designed with natural pearls, pale cabachon rubies, sapphires, peridots, emeralds and a large, central faceted garnet. The choice of colors is soft and blend beautifully one to the other. It has French guarantee stamps on the bail and a maker's mark imprinted on the top right corner above the peridot. Unique in design, it was rendered in silver with 18k gold accents. It measures a bold 3 1/2 in length with the bail X 1 1/2 inches across. The condition is fine with slight surface wear to the stones.
I am providing a contemporary black leather cord with a gold clasp, but it would look beautiful on a chain or with pearls. French, circa 1890
