Wonderful full Margot de Taxco Mexican silver parure. Margot Van Voorhees Carr, was an American designer who moved to Mexcico in the 1930's. She became affectionately known as Margot de Taxco when she opened her own shop in 1948 . She was very successful and her jewelry has garnered collectors worldwide. This complete set was collected over a period of years. It consists of a bracelet, necklace and earrings.
Each are in original condition retaining a beautiful patina. The necklace measures 15.5 inches and would gracefully fit
a slender neck. The bracelet is 7 3/4 inches. The earrings are the original screw backs that are secure.
The set is in fine condition. The necklace has some scratching on the back of two links.
This is one of her most beautiful repousse designs. It dates 1950-1960's.
