These English, antique 15k gold, chalcedony and pearl earrings are circa 1880. They are designed with three articulating sections. The central section has two split pearls finely set to add softness to the top and bottom elements. The chalcedony used on the top and bottom is a frosted white with a hint of blue. The earrings are long and slender lending themselves for day or evening wear. The soft, subtle color complements any jewelry without distraction.
They measure 2 3/4 inches long X 3/8 ths across. They are comfortable and hang gracefully from the gold shepherd's wire. The gold has retained a beautiful patina. Elegant and timeless in design.
England, circa 1850.
