This is an interesting form of Scottish jewelry. It is circa 1860 and is a bow motif, obviously designed for a woman. The majority of Scottish jewelry was designed for the men to be worn on the tartans and it is always exciting to come across a form that is sentimental and geared to please the woman. This bow is wonderful in form and choice of colors. It measures 2 3/4 inches across x 1 1/4 down. The reverse has all original mounts and a secure C-clasp. It is in excellent, unrestored condition.
