| This gold Georgian brooch is circa 1820. It has a double surround of natural creamy white pearls each finely set in a hand crimped gold. The rich colored central almondine garnet is faceted,foiled back, and set in a beautiful, crimped rub over gold setting. It is one of the prettiest of these brooches I have had in quite a while. It is all original as well as the mounts. It measures 7/8ths across x 3/4 down. It is in exceptional condition and rare to find with a double row of natural pearls. | ||||||
