This brooch, designed as a bow, is circa 1880 and has beautiful agates all inlaid in silver. The design is ingenious creating the illusion of a ribbon. All agates are original, and beautifully matched for color. The reverse has all original mounts and pinstem as well. It measures 2 3/8 inches across x 1 1/2 inches down. This motif is quite rare, and I have only had a similar design once before. The condition is excellent.
