This very beautiful ring is designed with a large central cabachon moonstone surrounded by a border of faceted garnets. The moonstone is gem quality exhibiting a beautiful adularescence. The stone is clear and blue. Tiny circles of silver accent the central stone as well as the perimeter of the garnets. The ring is beautifully finished when viewed from the back as well. This sterling ring was created during the Arts and Crafts Period, circa 1900 and is most likely American. It measures a bold 1 1/2 inches long x 1 inch across. It is a size 7 1/4 US. It is unusually bold, beautiful and in excellent condition. |
