Long, dramatic, Victorian gold earrings, circa 1900. These earrings are set with deep green bloodstone that has flecks of cranberry color. The bottom agate is faceted and set in a beautifully detailed conical shaped bezel. The top of the earring complements the bottom with a bloodstone agate and has fine gold detailing. The earrings are long, measuring 2 3/4 inches from the top of the wire x 3/8 wide. The condition is excellent. The original gold ear wires were replaced with new gold ones and was very well done. These earrings would be elegant worn with gold Victorian or Art Nouveau jewelry. It would also be wonderful worn with gold Scottish jewelry.
