| Extremely fine pair of Georgian 15k gold earrings,circa 1820. They are cannettille,a process of using fine wires to create rosettes,spirals or intricate designs. They are so beautifully detailed and textured front and back,right down to the rosette which caps the bottom. The patina is rich and original and the condition excellent. The length is the same in both, although one may appear longer in the photos. They measure a dramatic 2.5 inches long x 1/2 inches wide. They are each set with an amethyst at the top, two at the bottom centered with a central pink paste. They are light on the ear and uniquely beautiful. | ||||||||||||
