This particular dirk is 9k, beautifully engraved,and having a blend of beautiful traditional Scottish colors. The agates are jasper,bloodstone and Montrose gray. The citrines are faceted in the shape of a thistle,the beautiful Scottish flower. It is completely original including the the t-bar and c-clasp. It measures a bold 3 3/4 inches x 1/2 inches at the top. The patina is beautiful and the condition excellent. Most antique Scottish jewelry is rendered in silver,few in gold and finding a fine example rarer still. It is the fine quality that a collector would desire.
