Lovely,English, rock crystal heart pendant circa 1900. The crystal heart is adorned with a 9k fly with pearl and ruby accents. The wings are also set with tiny seed pearls. The simplicity of the design makes this quite elegant. The 15k bail has a beautiful patina and has the perfect proportion for the heart. It measures a bold 2 inches long with the bail x 1 1/4 inches across. The heart is plump and measures almost 1/2 inches in depth. The condition is excellent. It would be beautiful on a long black cord or worn close to the neck. Quite dramatic and easily worn for casual or dress. |
