This pair of opal cameo brooches are hand carved and set in silver and diamonds. The heads are classical and enhanced with European diamonds. The female has a hair adornment and the male a crescent simulating a collar. The original c-clasps have been replaced with safety clasps. The female measures 1 1/4 down x 5/8 across, the male 1 1/4 down x 3/4 across. They are well carved and one of a kind. Circa 1910. |
