| Rare,and rarer still is this antique Scottish silver agate bracelet, circa 1880. It has every element of good design; proportion, color,and fine detailing. The silver is all elaborately hand engraved. The agates chosen for color, seamlessly blend one to the next. The lapidary had superior skill, as every agate is perfectly cut, shaped and inlaid. The central element is a buckle motif accented with native cairngorms. The bracelet has six sections joining the center and terminates with an integral clasp. It measures 6 3/4 inches long x 1 1/4 inches at the widest point of the buckle. It would fit an average to larger wrist size. The width of each section is 3/4 inches down. It is completely original and in excellent condition. It is a bracelet fit for the discerning collector. | ||||||||||
