Striking Antique Gold Citrine Heart Circa 1830
These is a unique, very beautiful citrine heart surmounted with a gold crown. It is unusual in form and from an earlier period of time than most I have offered for sale. The citrine is beautifully cut and has an unusual pyramid form. The gold work, rendered in 15k is superior and it has an original, rich patina. The bail too is beautifully detailed. The bail is on the same direction of the heart and would have been worn with knotted ribbon or cord. It would be beautiful worn close to the neck or on a long cord. The heart measures slightly more than two inches long x 7/8 across the crown.

The dramatic, unique design and excellent, original condition gives this heart distinction. English, circa 1830.
