Rare and beautiful antique Stuart crystal earrings, circa 1800. These earrings are in superb condition, clear and beautifully step cut to reflect light. They have the original cypher and rich pink foiling. Silver hand crimped collets surrounding the crystals and softly curve around the back. These would have originally been cuff buttons or cufflinks and were later converted to earrings. The gold shephard's hook provide grace when worn. They measure slightly less than 3/4 inches long x slightly less than 1/2 inches wide. Uniquely beautiful for day or evening. England, circa 1800. |
