| Simply beautiful, these earrings are Georgian,circa 1820. The stones are faceted citrines set in crimped gold collets of 15k. The citrines, set a jour(open to the light) are ablaze with color as the light passes through the stone with every movement. They are set in the classical three sections, with each articulating. The earrings are long and dramatic, measuring 2 1/8 inches long x 1/2 inch across the widest span. The condition is superb. The original back to front ear wires have been replaced with modern gold wires. These early earrings are so rare to find especially in this condition. England,circa 1820 and incredibly lovely. | ||||||||||
