| This platinum diamond eternity ring is French, Art Deco, circa 1920. It is finely rendered as expected of French jewelry and is designed with 25 single cut diamonds all bead set in platinum. The diamonds are 3pts. each with a total weight of .75 carats. The diamonds are white, G-H SI. The use of single cut diamonds were popular during this period of time and the look is quite subtle. The band has a hallmark of a dog's head, the French mark for platinum. The other side of the band has a triangular cartouche with a maker's mark. It is a size 5 1/2 US and cannot be sized. The condition is excellent and it is completely original. These early eternity bands are beautiful and understated when worn alone, or stacked with other rings. It has a narrow width of slightly less than 1/8 inches wide which works well with stacking multiple rings, so popular today. French, Art Deco, circa 1920. | |||||||
