| An exceptional and rare pietra dura plaque of a couple dancing. Wonderful color and detail. Pietra dura is a form of mosaic inlay created with various stones that shading is place to create a dimensional picture. The technique requires that the fine marbles and stones be inlaid into a stone base (usually black onyx and sometimes other onyx shades). Measures 11 1/2" x 9 1/4" (In frame).
