A chinese porcelain mug / tankard painted in famille rose enamels with a floral design.

Dating from the early Qianlong period, it stands 3 5/8inches (9.2 cm) high.

There is fritting to the foot rim. It is in otherwise good condition.

A Cairo ware Mamluk revival bowl profusely decorated with silver and copper onlay with islamic inscriptions and scrolling floral designs between geometric bands. The bases have been dovetail inset and the rim rolled and reticulated. It is made from a heavy gauge brass/bronze.

Dating from the C19th., it measures 6 1/4inches (15.8 cm) across and weighs 690 gms.

It is in excellent condition.

A Cairo ware Mamluk revival bowl profusely decorated with silver and copper with scrolling decoration and panels of calligraphy all on a densely ring-punched ground. The silver and copper further engraved.

Dating from the C19th., it measures 5 1/8inches (13 cm) across and weighs 470 gms.

It is in excellent condition.

A Japanese Imari klapmuts bowl painted in underglaze blue with red, green, yellow and black enamels and gilt in a typical Imari style.

Dating from the C18th., it measures 6 inches (15.2 cm) across.

There is wear to the rim gilding. It is in otherwise very good condition.

A chinese porcelain sparrow beak jug probably painted in either England or Holland (clobbered).

Dating from the C18th., it stands 3 3/4inches (9.5 cm) high.

It is in very good condition.

GBP 395 

A chinese porcelain bowl profusely painted in bright famille rose enamels with warriors on horseback with attendants. There is a 6 character Tongzhi mark in a double square painted square to the base.

Dating from the Tongzhi period (1862-74), it measures 7 3/8inches (18.8 cm) max across.

There is some wear to the turquoise enamel to the interior. It is in otherwise very good condition with no frits, chips or cracks.

A pair of chinese red Dehua porcelain jos-stick holders quite crudely moulded as fo dogs with a cylindrical holder on a rectangular base all covered in a brown glaze stopping short of the foot rim.

Dating from the C17th., they stand 3 3/8inches (8.7 cm) high.

They are both in very good condition.

A Chinese carved wooden figure decorated in coloured enamels and gilt.

Dating from the C18th or probably earlier, it stands 5 inches (12.7 cm) high.

There are only traces of gilding and enamel remaining and there are losses to the woodwork.

Dating from the C19th., it measures 9 inches (22.8 cm) across.

There are some areas of kiln touching and some minor gilt wear. It is in good condition.
