A japanese porcelain well bucket painted in underglaze blue with birds flying over waves, the interior with flowers. It is signed to the base.

Dating from the C19th., it stands 16.9cms high and measures 19.2cms across the top of the handles. It weighs 1.25Kg.

There is a frit to the corner of one handle and some glaze firing faults.

A thickly potted Arita porcelain dish painted in underglaze blue with a mythical beast amongst flowers and rockwork. It has a fuku mark to the base.

Dating from the C19th., it measures 7 1/8inches (18.1cms) across.

It is in very good condition with only some minor nicks to the footrim and minor surface wear.

A finely decorated Koransha porcelain vase painted in 2 tones of underglaze blue, red, yellow, turquoise & aubergine enamel and gilt with butterflies, gourds and vines. It has the Koransha orchid mark painted in underglaze blue to the base.

Dating from c.1900, it stands 6 inches (15.3cms) high.

There is some wear to the rim gilding. It is in very good condition.

Dating from the Meiji period, it measures 15.7 cms high.

A good quality imari dish painted in underglaze blue, red, green and black enamels and gilt with a brocade deign.

Dating from the Meiji period, it measures 8 5/8inches (21.9cms) max across.

It is in very good condition with only wear to the rim gilding and minor surface scratches. There is a potting fault to the front (see photo 12).
