A chinese baluster shape porcelain vase and cover potted in a fine Jingdezhen quality porcelain and profusely decorated in famille rose enamels on a turquoise ground with 2 five-clawed dragons chasing a flaming pearl amongst clouds. It has an iron red 4 character Jiangxi mark to the base. Dating from the Republic period, it stands 8 5/8inches (22 cm) high. The vase is in very good condition. The lid has a small chip to the top of the rim. The glaze includes some miniscule air bubbles which give a slightly sippled appearance in small areas particularly the base (Original)

A quality Japanese tortoiseshell box with fine lacquer decoration. Dating from the late Meiji/ Taisho period, it measures 3 3/8inches (8.6 cms) across. It is in very good condition. There is minor loss on one mon that straddles the join between base and lid. The photographs do not do this box justice due to non-professional lighting.

A chinese carved jade figure of a lady holding a cup and draped in a scarf. It has it's original stand. Dating from the C20th., it stands 9 inches (22.8cm) high including stand. A section of the scarf at the back and her right hand is missing. These could be easily tidied up.
