A chinese bronze censer with chilong handles the tails of which are integrally cast with the body of the censer and the bodies applied. There is an indistinct Xuande mark in a dragon roundel to the base.
Dating from the C19th., it measures 9 1/2inches (24.2cms) across the handles and weighs 1.9Kgs.
There is a small dent to the body, a small original dovetail bronze repair missing from the foot rim and it has been polished.
An English porcelain jug beautifully hand painted with a picture of Fonthill Abbey. It is Marked "Fonthill Abbey" to the base together with a pattern No. 3/867. It is probably from the Ridgway factory.
Dating from the 1st half of the C19th., it stands 5 1/2inches (14cms) tall.
There is a luting line fault (original) inside the rim and some minor flaking to enamels.
