A rare Korean iron box finely decorated with silver onlay. The top with a shou character. The sides with deer, cranes and minogame on keyfret and diaper ground. It has an owners mark to the base and inner lid. Dating from the C19th., it measures 4x2 5/8x2 1/4inches (10.2x6.7x6 cms). It is in very good condition with only very minor loss to the silver. |
