A beautifully potted and crisply moulded jug with hunting scenes on a mid blue ground. The body looks like a Turner type feldspathic stoneware and is translucent. Dating from the 1st quarter of the C19th., it measures 5 7/8inches (15 cm) from tips of spout and handle. There is a small chip to the lip. It is in otherwise very good condition. |
