A chinese porcelain bowl of ogee form decorated in famille rose enamels with flowers in reserves on a brown & gilt ground. There is a 6 character Qianlong mark to the base together with an inscribed owners mark. Dating from the Qianlong period (1736-95), it measures 7 1/4inches (18.4 cm) across. There is a chip and a bruise to the footrim and circular areas of wear to the brown ground. |
