A very attractive Japanese porcelain globular vase decorated with overglaze silver and with a Sumida type flambe glaze flowing from the neck.There is a 3 character mark in red enamel to the base. Dating from the Meiji period, it stands 3 1/2inches (8.5cms) high. There is a small chip to the rim and some wear. It is in generally good condition and displays well. |
